Ideas for the semester
This semester I plan on continuing to work with eye scans. For those of you new to the class I have been able to access scans from inside the eye that I then scan into the computer and manipulate digitally. I would like to focus on not taking as much away from the original eye scans as I did last semester things like keeping the notch in the corner. I thought about trying to make this series indoors but im not sure yet...

I like your idea of trying to leave more of the original scan visible, although I really liked your pieces last semester too. That would be cool to go with an indoor approach since your others were outdoors.
ReplyDeleteIf you are going to work on indoor scenes, have you considered using source material from the reformatory photo shoot? That might be interesting...
