A single footstep will not make a path on earth

In crit we were talking about how I should incorperate things that people leave behind so in this one I chose to use a book/journal representing all of the places this person has either read about and wants to go or a journal representing where they have been and written down experiences. On the book I wrote a qoute which says "A single footstep will not make a path on earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives." by Henry David Thoreau

Here is what I have been working on I added the shadow of the trees and made the grass extend more into the background!

Stairway

I started this today. some of the things metioned in my Jr. Review were that the viens in the eye scans don't always have to represent trees. So I tried playing around with that idea today and this is what I came up with. I'm not done with this yet and any commets or suggestions would be great.

More changes...

I used the gradient tool to darken the background and the grass. Instead of the clouds I added a few stars in the sky they are hard to see in this picture but they are there.

Road Trip

This is my most recent image. I'm not sure what else I'm going to do with it yet. I was thinking that I might add clouds into the sky?!?! Any suggestions would be great !

Here are some of the changes I made to my tire swing image I added the moon light shinning in from the background and created a shadow under the tire swing. I also added some leaves to the tree.... I still feel like the tire swing is a bit cut and paste I'm trying to fix it.

Mountians

So Ive made some changes... I changed the opacity of the ground and darkened it so that it would look more like land. Also I added a mountian to the other side of the tracks and added more rocks to the left side

This is my newest one it is far from finished but I thought I would post it anyways.... I still want to add a light source and have a shadow under the tire swing.... Im not to sure how to do that yet but any suggestions are welcome!!!
